Join NAWL’s Book Club Call on September 11

I just saw where the National Association of Women Lawyers Book Club, Reading to Lead, is hosting a call to discuss one of my favorite new books, What Works For Women At Work.  The 1-hour call starts at 11 a.m. Pacific on September 11, and is moderated by the incomparable Michelle Coleman Mayes, VP, General Counsel, and Secretary of The New York Public Library.  Michelle will be interviewing Joan Williams, one of the book’s authors, for part of the hour, with further time allotted for questions from participants.  I like What Works for Women because it is both realistic and positive about how women can effectively navigate office politics, and it brings a multi-generational, broad perspective to the challenges women face, and the solutions for future progress.  I’m looking forward to the call!
