I’m honored to have been invited to speak as part of the National Legal Mentoring Consortium’s Symposium “Managing Mentoring Programs During Times Of Change”  in Minneapolis October 4-6, 2012.   This year’s symposium is being hosted by the University of St. Thomas School of Law, a leader in mentoring within legal education and beyond.  Assistant Dean Dave Bateston and I have been collaborating on best practices in mentoring in the legal profession for years, and I’m looking forward to sharing my thoughts on why mentoring matters so much and how to make it work in formal and informal settings.
